Dear Dr. Leone,

There is an old cliché that goes something like this, “if it sounds too good to be true, then it is.” Happily, that cliché is incorrect in our relationship with you.

We are snowbirds and spend 6 months of the year in the New York / New Jersey area. That’s where my husband had planned to have his knee replacement surgery. But this winter, we attended a seminar that you gave, where everything sounded too good to be true. From the explanations of the procedure (with diagrams and films) to the confident, complete, non-condescending answers to the attendees’ questions, we found our confidence in you growing. We left the seminar convinced that you were the surgeon for the job.
